Hello. I’m James Stewart =)
A short while back I was just a 30-something year old guy with a camera living and working in Santa Clara Californa. I can recall exactly when and how I went from being just a guy with a camera to a “photographer”.
One day, I came popping out of the subway tube, alone, in a place foreign to anything I’d witnessed before… to see the Eiffel Tower standing there. Many more times taller and more magnificent than I could’ve ever imagined. Naturally, I took a picture. Then another, and well… Let’s just say that I’ve taken a lot since then. You see, there was never a time I was satisfied with my efforts to capture the Tower in all it’s grander. No longer was I just pointing and clicking, like a guy with a camera. Because of my fascination with the world around me I began to teach myself about light, shade, angles etc; and why all these things are important. I realized then that Photography is only as engaging, exciting, rewarding or difficult as the Photographer makes it.
And I love a good challenge.
Once back home in the States I went immediately to my favorite Camera Store in San Jose to find out what I would need to keep on shooting. Batteries, flash’s, grips, glass, filters, backdrops… oh my. Oh well. I’d been ready to pursue my passion for sometime and was FedUp with waiting. Much too driven and excited from my travels abroad I tossed caution aside and started FedUp Photography. I hope you’ll stick around to watch FedUp evolve…
